PARM KALIRAI

Parm has been in the investment business for over ten years. Parm cofounded Flatiron Capital in April 2004. Prior to this, from October 2002 to April 2004, Parm co-managed, with Steve Duenkler, a $40 million portfolio of equities, convertible bonds, warrants and merger arbitrage situations. From July 1999 to September 2002, as a Vice President of Front Street Capital, he was responsible for co-managing portfolios for Casurina and First Wave hedge funds. This involved trading, research and analysis of equities, convertible bonds and merger arbitrage situations. Parm was also involved in founding the hedge fund. From January 1996 to June 1999, Parm was a Vice President of TD Securities, where he co-managed a proprietary trading portfolio. He also spent three years, from January 1992 to December 1995, working in the internal audit and systems departments of a Canadian Chartered Bank, where he performed audits of treasury operations, including interest rate swaps/options, bonds, money market instruments, and foreign exchange. Parm has a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto, is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

STEVE DUENKLER

Steve has been in the investment field for over ten years. Steve cofounded Flatiron Capital in April 2004. Prior to this, from January 2000 to April 2004, he co-managed a $40 million portfolio for National Bank Financial, with Parm Kalirai, which consisted of equities, convertible bonds, merger arbitrage situations and warrants. For the last four years Steve had been managing a market neutral portfolio in the proprietary trading group of National Bank Financial. From September 1998 to January 2000 Steve was a Vice-President of Scotia Capital Markets where he was responsible for direct sales coverage of independent fundamental research to support both trading decisions and sales functions of the convertible debenture area. Prior to joining Scotia Capital Markets, Steve started his investment career in 1991 as an equity research analyst in the quantitative area of the Burns Fry equity research group. As part of the top ranked quantitative equity research group in Canada, Steve helped in producing and marketing quantitative research on the TSE300 and S&P500. Steve has a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

MICHELLE MOORE

Michelle has been in the investment field for over 10 years. Michelle cofounded Flatiron Capital in April 2004. Prior to this she was an institutional equity trader specializing in risk arbitrage for various brokerage houses in Canada, including CIBC World Markets, National Bank Financial and TD Securities Inc. This involved trading a portfolio for the firm of up to $40 million and covering both Canadian and US hedge funds on current merger situations. It also involved preparing detailed analysis of these merger situations to assess potential investment opportunities for the firm's portfolio, and for use by the clients of the firm. Prior to this Michelle was the Manager of Financial and Regulatory Reporting for TD Securities Inc. for two years from 1996 - 1998, where she was responsible for reporting the financial results of the broker to TD Bank, and was also responsible for managing the firm's regulatory capital. She was also the controller of Griffiths, McBurney & Partners at the inception of that firm in 1995/1996. She began her career in this field as an auditor for the Toronto Stock Exchange where she audited various Canadian brokerage firms for capital adequacy. Michelle has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and is a Chartered Accountant.
